SandScreen Fouta Towels

Fouta towel, also known as Turkish or Peshtemal towel, is a piece of thin patterned cotton or linen fabric of Tunisian origin used in many Mediterranean countries. Among other uses, they were worn, by both men and women, wrapped around the body while at the public baths in 19th-century. 

Traditionally crafted from linen or 100% cotton, they are considerably thinner than many other luxury bath towel options, but don't let their flat-weave fool you, they are very absorbent. In fact they are as absorbent as terry-cloth towels and become softer and more absorbent the more you use and wash them.
